What Our Parents Say…

Church in the Highlands ECC is my children’s home away from home. It is everything I want for my children – warm, friendly, and nurturing. Everyone quickly becomes like family and takes genuine interest in getting to know you and your children. My youngest son is in the three’s program. He smiles from ear to ear when talking about his amazing teachers. Having had two older children attend the school from age two, I know ECC prepares them socially, emotionally and academically to be ready for kindergarten! I can’t say enough great things about this magical place for our children! Thank you ECC!

“Our family is eternally grateful for the 2 years our son spent at Church in the Highlands. The staff are so warm and loving and it is clear each person is a dedicated and experienced early childhood educator. They have instilled a love of learning for our son and helped him develop his first true friendships. Church in the Highlands provides a creative, enriched learning environment to develop play, social, motor, cognitive and language skills all within the context of fun activities. Since his enrollment, his confidence and social skills have soared. We are confident that Church in the Highlands has equipped with him the core skills necessary for a successful transition to kindergarten. This is the most talented and dedicated team of loving professionals. Our gratitude for this program is immeasurable and sending him here was the best decision we ever made for our son and our family.”

“Sending our oldest child to school for the first time at the age of two was very emotional. She had been by our sides for the first two years of her life and we were hesitant about her being away from us. These fears and concerns however, were almost immediately lifted from the moment we walked through the doors of Church in the Highlands. When we visited Church in the Highlands the first time, we were greeted by a kind and caring staff who supported our family through those first few weeks of school. In no time, our daughter would come home with wonderful stories about school and always spoke so positively about all of her experiences. I had the pleasure of sending my daughter to Church in the Highlands for three years and my son attended the two’s program for one year. I give this school, program and the teachers five stars across the board. My daughter is thriving in kindergarten this year and truly has a love for learning – I attribute her success to the wonderful program and teachers she had at Church in the Highlands.”

“The Church in the Highlands Early Childhood Center has been instrumental in the development of my daughter’s growth and development.  I feel what makes this nursery school extraordinary are the teachers who love, care, and nurture the children.  The teachers treat the children as if the children were their own.  Subsequently, my daughter has developed into a loving and confident child who is inquisitive about science, crafts, music, and cooking.  My daughter loves attending the Church in the Highlands Early Childhood Center so much that she doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day.  To me, this speaks volumes about the care she is receiving at this very special place.”

My daughter has been attending Church in the Highlands ECC since she was 18 months old.  She will be entering the 4’s class in the fall.  I can’t say enough positive things about the staff and the school.  Since day one, my daughter has been enriched academically and socially.  She absolutely loves going to school.  She has also made a lot of friends.  The staff at ECC provide a warm and nurturing environment for the students and parents.  We look forward to a continued experience with our second child in the fall.  We are proud to be a part of the ECC family!”

“I can still remember my first visit to the Early Childhood Center at the Church in the Highlands and the immediate feeling of warmth and comfort.  As a parent of a child with developmental delays, I was concerned with finding a school that would provide a caring and supportive environment for my daughter. Bella is now in her second year here and I could not be happier with my decision. The ‘play-based’ approach has given her a true love of learning and her socialization with friends and teachers have helped her to flourish and thrive! The staff members have not only supported Bella in her daily challenges but have given me a ‘shoulder to lean on’ as well – and for that, I am forever grateful.
I was also thrilled to be given the opportunity to launch my ‘Melody in Motion’ music and movement program here at The Early Childhood Center.  As the music instructor, I cherish every moment of singing, dancing and instrument play I spend with the children. Their eagerness and enthusiasm have truly been a source of inspiration.  I can honestly say that Bella and I look forward to going to school together each and every day!”
